FORT GEORGE AND HIGHLANDER MUSEUM
Fort George is one of the most outstanding forts in Europe and took 22 years to build, it is still home to regiments within the British Army. The Highlanders' Museum is housed within Fort George and will take you on a Highland Soldier's journey from just after The Battle of Culloden to the present day. Today, Fort George would cost an estimated £1 billion to build and equip.
Set in the Glen Affric Natural Nature Reserve, the stunning falls are over 40 metres high. They are the tallest waterfalls in the area and they are surrounded by Douglas Firs. The addition of the viewing platform above the falls makes the journey and visit even more spectacular.
Head into Inverness and jump on a cruise along the Inner Moray Firth where you will have the chance to spot some beautiful Dolphins. This trip will take you into the Beauly and under the Kessock Bridge out to Munlochy before you return to the Inverness Marina.
Take a trip back in time and visit Culloden battlefield where one of the most harrowing battles in Britain took place and the Jacobite Rising came to an end! Enjoy a stroll around the battlefield and visitor centre and discover the truth about the 1745 Jacobite Rising from both sides!
